Published to document Matthew Barney's 2023 film of the same name, SECONDARY is a large-format, fully-illustrated magazine of 64 pages. The publication features full-bleed production and video stills, profiles of the film’s cast members, a statement on the work by the artist, and imagery and the script from the making of DRAWING RESTRAINT 27 at Fondation Cartier. It was edited by Isabella Achenbach, designed by Pacific, and published by Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain on the occasion of the exhibition SECONDARY, June 8–September 8, 2024. It is available in French and English.
