Published to document Matthew Barney's 2023 film of the same name, SECONDARY is a large-format, fully-illustrated magazine of 64 pages. The publication features full-bleed production and video stills, rehearsal imagery from early movement workshops, profiles of the film’s cast members, and a statement on the work by the artist. It was edited by Isabella Achenbach, designed by Pacific, and published by Matthew Barney Studio on the occasion of the first public exhibition of SECONDARY, in the artist's studio in Long Island City, May 12–June 25, 2023.
